Why this course?

The First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for individuals with a valid First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate. To be eligible for this requalification course, your current FAW certificate must remain valid or expire within 30 days.

This course is designed to equip you with essential life-saving skills and knowledge. Whether you work in a high-risk environment like construction or manufacturing or want to be prepared for emergencies, this two-day requalification course is tailored to meet your needs.

Who is this course for?


This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training. It is most suited to those working in high-risk environments, such as building sites or warehouses.

This qualification meets the requirements for training first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

It is a requalification for those who already have a FAW qualification.

How is this course delivered?

The Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification course is delivered in a classroom and there is a mix of theory and practical elements required to successfully complete the course. We will deliver the course In-House at your site for a group of employees.

The course consists of 2, 6 hour days giving you a total of 12 hours learning time.

Our 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification course covers the following subjects:


  • The role and responsibilities of a first aider

  • Assessing an incident

  • Managing an unresponsive casualty

  • CPR

  • Defibrillator (Use of AED)

  • Recovery Position

  • Choking

  • Epilepsy

  • Asthma

  • Diabetes

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Wounds and bleeding

  • Minor injuries

  • Shock

  • Heart Attack

  • Stroke

  • Head and spinal injuries

  • Chest injuries

  • Fractures

  • Sprains, strains, and dislocations

  • Burns and scalds

  • Poisoning

  • Eye injuries
